I am the Batman, I reside in Gotham City protecting the people there from crimes and acts of violence. I chose to help people from danger after my parents were killed by criminals when I was only just a young boy. While i do not possess any super powers, my use of gadgets and fighting skills assist me when fighting enemies. I am known for the bat symbol and all the bat themed gadgets and tools I use to protect people. My actual identity of Bruce Wayne, multi-millionaire is not known by many as I am very good at keeping my secret identity. There are many thugs and enemies in Gotham such as my nemesis, the Joker. The Gotham police department is always assisted by me with their situations and problems. The department commissioner, James Gordon puts a bat signal in the sky when I am needed for help. During my experiences, I always helped by my butler, Alfred. Alfred helps me with equipment, identifying criminals and making sure I am accommodated. He is one of the few people who knows of my true identity. I have become very popular in the general public as there have been many movies and comic books written about my adventures. Being the Batman is a very special thing, and it always feels great to help people and protect the city of Gotham.
